New Open Position – Hide and Tourists Manager at Ultima Frontiera, Danube Delta

The position of Hide and Tourists Manager offers a new opportunity for those passionate about nature, wildlife and photography to work in the Danube Delta, at Ultima Frontiera, Periprava. This is a key role in developing experiences for nature tourists and wildlife photographers, involving the management of photography hides infrastructure and the coordination of visitor groups to ensure a memorable experience, delivered with full respect for nature.

At Ultima Frontiera, Periprava, in the Danube Delta, the Rewilding Romania team, together with Ultima Frontiera management and Rewilding Romania Travel, are developing dedicated experiences for nature tourists and wildlife photographers who wish to explore one of the wildest areas of the Delta, located close to the Letea Forest.

As the on-site coordinator of these experiences, you will be responsible for the smooth running of field visits, implementing and ensuring compliance with ethical standards and rewilding principles, and maintaining photography hides to guarantee high-quality services for visitors.

You will report directly to and work closely with the General Director of Ultima Frontiera. You will also collaborate with the Rewilding Romania teams and with the Rewilding Romania Travel Agency. The role involves constant interaction with local authorities, rangers and members of local communities, as well as coordinating external partnerships in the fields of wildlife photography and ecotourism.

 

The ideal candidate should have experience in tourism and wildlife photography, a strong understanding of animal behaviour, ethical standards in nature photography, and proven skills in working with groups of visitors, to ensure guest satisfaction and encourage repeat visits.
