In the Țarcu Mountains, where European bison once again roam free, the first edition of Rewilding Week combined nature exploration with direct involvement in its recovery. From 27 September to 1 October, participants explored the area’s wild landscapes and joined the Rewilding România team in wildlife monitoring, ecosystem restoration, and activities that support coexistence between people and bison.
