Between 31 August and 1 September 2026, in Tulcea, 22 teachers and nature educators took part in the first stage of the “Junior Guide in the Danube Delta” project, an initiative of România Sălbatică, developed in partnership with Rewilding Romania.

Would you be able to recognize a vulture if you saw one in flight? Would you know how to tell it apart from an eagle? If your answer is “no,” you’re not alone. Today, few Romanians still know that, until about a century ago, four vulture species were part of our country’s wildlife.

Rewilding Romania is expanding its team and seeking an Administrative Assistant to support activities at Ultima Frontieră in the Popina–Periprava area of the Danube Delta.
